Memorandum of Understanding

between the Association “Telecommunications Chamber of Ukraine” and the Hungarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

This Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter – the “Memorandum”) is made and entered into by the Association “Telecommunications Chamber of Ukraine” and the Hungarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce & Industry to develop cooperation and goodwill between the telecommunications, television and radio broadcasting markets of Hungary and Ukraine (hereinafter – Parties).

This Memorandum is a document under which the Parties are to coordinate their actions to achieve the objectives established by this Memorandum.

 

Article 1 (Purpose of Memorandum) This Memorandum is intended to promote  mutual understanding between the two industries through improving communications between telecommunications, television and radio broadcasting markets of Hungary and Ukraine.

 

Article 2 (Scope)

The Parties shall cooperate to share high quality content, promote the technology and support experts to revitalize telecommunications, television and radio broadcasting industries.

To this end, it is necessary to:

2.1 Develop effective communication between Hungarian and Ukrainian industries in terms of bilateral cooperation.

2.2. Jointly use and maintain two-way technology to run common business.

2.3 Exchange information on action plans, projects, and programs developed and/or being implemented in the territory.

2.4. Promote meetings and “round tables” with participation of experts on relevant areas of activity.

2.5. Share experience to produce high quality content.

In order to ensure the most rapid and effective achievement of common objectives, the parties may hold joint consultations where necessary.

 

Article 3 (Bilateral Agreement) Other parties which are not specified in this Memorandum shall enter into a separate agreement under the bilateral agreement of the parties.

 

Article 4 (Confidentiality) The Parties shall take all appropriate measures to preserve confidential information, either technical or operating, that they receive from each other in the process of cooperation.

In addition, this Memorandum should not be used for purposes other than for the purpose of common interest.

 

Article 5 (Effective Date)

This Memorandum shall enter into force on the date of its signing by the Parties and be effective for as long as three (3) years.

Memorandum can be prolonged by the Parties by signing a document in writing no later than one (1) month before the date of expiry.

 

Article 6 (Termination) This Memorandum may be terminated by either Party in writing by a one-month prior notice.

 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Memorandum was signed by the duly authorized representatives of the parties in the two (2) copies. Each party retains one (1) copy of the document, respectively.
